Dr Karen BensonMB BCh MRCP MRCGP DipAcC Medical Doctor, Acupuncture, Intramuscular StimulationDr Benson graduated with a medical degree in 1980 - MB BCh (Wales) and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (1983) and the Royal College of General Practitioners. She is in practice in North London. She has trained in Acupuncture and graduated with a Diploma in Acupuncture from the British Medical Acupuncture Association in 1999. She has upgraded her training to full membership over a 10 year period from 1989. She uses Acupuncture and Intramuscular Stimulation to treat a number of health conditions - including any acute or chronic pain: fibromyalgia, sports injuries, post-traumatic pain, repetitive strain injury, gynaecological problems including period pain and endometriosis, tension, stress, insomnia, depression, pregnancy nausea, and palliative care during chemotherapy.
