Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
In Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
(PID) the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries become infected
by sexually transmitted organisms, bacteria introduced in surgery,
or through the IUD.
The symptoms include lower abdominal,
leg and back pain, irregular and heavy bleeding, vaginal discharge,
painful sex, fever, nausea, and diarrhoea.
It is very important to see a medical
practitioner at once - antibiotics will probably be prescribed to
kill the infection.
Tip: in the case of PID
it is important to seek conventional medical treatment. Complementary
medicine is very useful for recovery from the infection.
Treatments:
Acupuncture,
Aromatherapy, Herbal
Medicine, Homeopathy,
Hydrotherapy, Nutritional
Therapy, Naturopathy,
Traditional
Chinese Medicine.
You
are recommended to seek advice of a qualified health practitioner. To find a qualified
practitioner in your area look in the Practitioner
Directory.
