Candida Albicans
Candida Albicans causes vaginal
thrush - an infection which produces a white, curdy discharge, with
a strong yeasty or vinegary smell. It is accompanied by soreness
and itching of the vulva.
It is caused by lowered immunity, use
of oral contraceptives, nutritional deficiencies, and use of antibiotics.
Normally the Candida Albicans
micro-organism is held in check by friendly bacteria but these can
be knocked out of balance by any of the above. Thrush is quite common
after a course of antibiotics. Introducing "live" yoghurt, which
contain these friendly bacteria, into the vagina, has been traditionally
used as a cure.
Tip: instead of "live" yoghurt
which can be messy and ineffective, Acidopilous (friendly bacteria)
can be taken orally in capsule form.
