Dr Rajendra SharmaDr Rajendra Sharma MB BCh BAO LRCP LRCS MRCH MFHom Medical Doctor, Homeopath
Dr Sharma studied Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. After obtaining orthodox medical training at Milton Keynes General Hospital, he graduated first in his class of 1985 at the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, City of London University, where he became an honorary senior lecturer.
He is a member of the both the Faculty and Council of Homeopathy.
He holds a number of important positions including being Medical Director of the Hale Clinic in London, Britain's largest alternative medical centre. He is also Medical Director of the 101 Practitioners Network - a group of affiliated complementary health practitioners who work together to provide integrated holistic healthcare, covering over 40 complementary therapies.
Dr Sharma has studied with specialists in most alternative/complementary medical fields and as a founder of the International Holistic Health Association has lectured and worked with many of the top specialists in the field.
His special interest is in working with Cancer, AIDS and other serious or chronic illnesses, but is considered by many as their family doctor and enjoys working with all conditions from coughs and colds to more serious cases. He has a strong understanding of the psychological aspects of ill health and combines physical, mental and spiritual advice in his treatments.
Dr Sharma has authored several books including the highly successful The Element Family Encyclopaedia of Health (Element), and Your Child-Allergies (Element).
He is also Medical Director of The Essential Health Clinic in London, consultant to The Castle Street Clinic in Guildford, and lecturer at The Bangalore Holistic Health Centre and at Columbia University (USA) on the Complementary Medicine Course.
Dr Sharma can be seen frequently on television and heard regularly on radio. He has his own page in Real Health and Beauty Magazine, is Medical Contributor to Health and Fitness Magazine, and Editorial Consultant to Home Doctor Magazine. His other media coverage includes appearances on: BBC, Sky, LWT, Channel 5, MTV, Talk Radio, LBC, the Daily Mail, the Daily Telegraph, the Daily Express, and in numerous magazines.
